  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat milk and butter until warm.
  3. Add the milk mixture to dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  5. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  6. Roll out the dough and spread cream cheese mixture on top.
  7. Sprinkle with cinnamon, brown sugar, and strawberries.
  8. Roll the dough and cut into rolls.
  9. Place rolls in a greased pan and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes.
  11. Let cool before drizzling with icing.
