  • 1 pound ground lamb or beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup milk or cream

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and cook until translucent.
  2. Add in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Stir in the ground lamb or beef, cooking until browned.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and add diced potatoes, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and rosemary. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
  6. Add the frozen peas and carrots and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Finally, stir in the milk or cream and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
