  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup green peas
  • 1 cup potatoes, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the onion, carrots, and potatoes. Cook until vegetables are softened.
  3. Stir in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, thyme, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes.
  5. Add the green peas in the last five minutes of cooking.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
