  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 pound cooked salmon, flaked
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup nori sheets, cut into strips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rinse sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Combine rice and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. In a baking dish, layer the cooked rice, followed by flaked salmon. Spread the cream cheese mixture on top.
  5. Sprinkle green onions and nori strips over the top.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until heated through.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a dash of sriracha to the cream cheese mixture.
