  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sliced sausage, cooking until the sausage is browned.
