Eggs en Cocotte (Baked Eggs)

A delicious recipe for baked eggs en cocotte that includes turkey bacon for an indulgent flavor.

  • 4 strips turkey bacon
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then chop into pieces.
  3. In ramekins, add a layer of bacon, then crack an egg into each ramekin.
  4. Pour the heavy cream evenly over the eggs and bacon.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese, salt, pepper, and chives on top.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the eggs are set.
  7. Serve warm.
