Eggs Benedict Casserole

A rich and indulgent casserole combining the classic flavors of Eggs Benedict with turkey bacon and chicken ham, perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 6 cups cubed day-old bread
  • 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh chives, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and Dijon mustard.
  3. Add the turkey bacon and chicken ham to the egg mixture.
  4. In a greased casserole dish, layer the cubed bread and pour the egg mixture over it.
  5. Sprinkle with Swiss cheese and chives.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until set and golden brown on top.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding sautéed spinach or tomatoes.
  • This dish can be assembled the night before and baked in the morning.
