  • 1 sleeve saltine crackers
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with saltine crackers.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring until smooth.
  4. Pour the butter mixture over the saltine crackers, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake in the oven for 5-7 minutes until bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top, letting them melt.
  7. Spread the melted chocolate with a spatula to cover the toffee.
  8. Mix the cinnamon and sugar, then sprinkle over the melted chocolate.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator until set, then break into pieces.

Notes

  • For a spicier flavor, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the cinnamon sugar.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
