Instructions

  3. In another bowl, mix the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed.
  5. Fold in the cherries gently to avoid breaking them.
  6. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon for the topping.
  7. Divide the batter among the muffin cups and sprinkle the brown sugar mixture on top.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
