- 200 grams bihun (vermicelli)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 100 grams cabbage, shredded
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Soak the bihun in warm water for about 10 minutes or until soft, then drain.
- In a large pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sliced onion, and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the carrots and cabbage, and cook for 3–4 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- Push the vegetables to one side of the pan and pour in the beaten eggs. Scramble the eggs until cooked, then mix with the vegetables.
- Add the softened bihun to the pan along with the soy sauce and ground black pepper. Toss everything together until well combined.
- Finally, add the chopped green onions, stir, and serve hot.

- For a spicier version, add chili paste or sliced fresh chilies.
