BAKED FETA PASTA RECIPE

  • 8 ounces pasta of your choice
  • 1 block (8 ounces) feta cheese
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a baking dish, place the block of feta cheese in the center and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Add the chopped turkey bacon and pasta around the feta.
  4. Sprinkle garlic powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper over the ingredients.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is soft and golden.
  6. While it’s baking, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  7. Once baked, remove from the oven and mix everything together.
  8. Add the fresh spinach and stir until wilted.
  9. Serve warm, garnished with fresh basil.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, omit the turkey bacon.
  • Feel free to use whole wheat pasta for a healthier version.
